Chris: Integration
- What's preventing from running it as OMERO.web?
- Simon: Didn't know about django
- Chris: worry is that you start rebuilding things
- Jean-Marie: by Tuesday / Wednesday would need something
-
Chris: how long would it take?
- Will: should only be a couple issues.
- Josh: branding is important.
- Simon: wasn't sure it would be re-usable
-
Josh: the silo code will be re-usable for:
- FS file browsing
- Tabular data viewing
- Jean-Marie: have to also start exploring UX workflows
- Chris: logging, configuration, login, apache, etc. is all done if we integrate.
- Will: put it on gretzky for testing.
Chris: data table
- If we're going to be showing large tabular data, should pick one of the three-four large plugins
-
Reasonably happy with DataTable
- includes filtering, searching, sorting, ...
- Aren't using dynamic loading yet.
- Know what it's constraints are.
- Want to include a widget in jQuery 1.2
- Will & Ola already have some code for this
- Josh: need to agree and start re-using.
Will: branding?
- Josh: this should look like the rest of the website
- Will: we haven't really done that before.
- Josh: but it's also just what CMU wants to do.
- Chris: time to outline the actual requirements
TODOs/Next Steps
- Simon: Get them sync'd up
- Simon: Delpoy on gretzky (?)
- Chris: provide example application to Simon with datatable
-
Synchronize tomorrow afternoon.
- Agree on visual changes
- Chris should be able to modify SiloApi viz-a-viz populate_roi.py as necessary
Future
- Native JSON export from SiloApi
