The Annual Meeting brings together members of OME and the wider imaging community to discuss their work and define priorities for future development of specifications and software. The meeting is an excellent opportunity for members of the imaging community--developers, users, scientists from biology, computing and data analysis-- to meet and share their work, needs and visions for driving discovery with imaging data.

On May 31 at the Dalhousie Building we will start with a morning session of 3 to 4 minute lightning talks from members of the community. Lightning talks set the scene for the community priorities and requirements that are the focus of the rest of the meeting. After lunch, we'll have 5 seminars by invited guest speakers. We'll finish the day with a poster session, drinks reception and dinner. On June 1 at the Dalhousie Building, there will be a series of workshops for Developers and Users that cover various aspects of using OME's tools. June 2 will be more free-form and attendees will be welcome to work closely with the OME team and each other on any relevant topic they wish to discuss - we plan to use an Un-Meeting format for this day in the Life Sciences Discovery Centre.
