questions
-
Jean-Marie: what's the metadata from the file that they are looking to change?
- The metadata that is captured will not change
- "PixelSize" should be auto-filled, and doesn't change the original
- Jason: they also have the facility to annotate origianal metadata now
- Chris: pixel sizes and channels are the two most important features. Mostly they are rounding values or adjusting measurement units.
- Jean-Marie: cF. if user changes a channel for publication, wants that to be stored in database
-
Jean-Marie: Rendering settings (can the user have his own?)
- Need to solve the problem for permissions (how to have rendering settings in read-only group)
- Chris: for JCB we decided multiple rendering settings are too confusing
- Jean-Marie: we need to be able to temporarily change the group permissions to attach rendering settings
- Jason: If the group is read only it should hqve one original rendering setting. if the group is read/link, it should allow multiple rendering settings.
