Introduction

The OME-Java API is a framework for accessing information in an OME database via a Java-based client application running on a remote machine. For accessing OME methods from another programming language, refer to the Remote framework section. A description of the existing OME Java client is here.

The source code is included as part of the OME Server distribution (in the src/java folder), and is available from the Subversion repository:

$ svn co http://svn.openmicroscopy.org.uk/svn/ome/trunk/src/java ome-java

Or you can download the latest ome-java.jar binary build.
