10th Annual Users Meeting June 2015

The 10th Annual OME Users Meeting was held June 2-3 2015 at Imagopole, Institut Pasteur in Paris. Links to presentations, posters and workshop slides are in the programme below.

Day 2 — Wednesday 3rd June, 2015

The plan for the workshops this year features a mixture of presentations and more informal discussion topics. Please feel free to approach a member of the team with your questions or to request a demonstration of the OMERO clients or specific functionality. If you need to leave early and want a specific topic covered earlier than it is listed in the programme, please let the workshop leaders know as early as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

09:00 - 10:30	Workshops - Round 1

	Room 1 - Working with OMERO Informal demonstrations of OMERO.insight and OMERO.web Informal demonstrations of other tools developed by the OME consortium e.g. FLIMfit, ImageJ Discussions as requested on integrating your own tools: Java, Python etc. Discussions as requested on using/customizing training materials Room 2 - Managing OMERO Presentation on advanced import features: in-place, dropbox, import-for etc. Public Repository: permissions, deployment & customization Room 3 - Working with Bio-Formats (developer-aimed session) Introduction to working with Bio-Formats Presentation on working with Bio-Formats in C++ Breakout sessions on working with Bio-Formats in Java & Matlab and with large datasets Followed by discussion on HDF5, Bio-Formats and OMERO

11:00 - 12:15	Workshops - Round 2

	Room 1 - Working with OMERO Informal demonstrations and open discussion as requested. Topics could include docker, CI, clients etc. Room 2 - Managing OMERO Presentation on how to integrate with acquisition/analysis e.g. Micromanager Presentation on advanced import features: in-place, dropbox, import-for etc. Room 3 - Working in the Web Presentation on how to extend OMERO.web and make your own public page Demonstration of OMERO.figure

	Room 1 - Working with OMERO Open discussion and catch up on any demonstrations you missed in the morning Room 2 - Managing OMERO Public Repository: permissions, deployment & customization Presentation on how to integrate with acquisition/analysis e.g. Micromanager FAQ type discussion e.g. how to manage groups and users Room 3 - Working in the Web Presentation on how to extend OMERO.web and make your own public page Demonstration of OMERO.figure
