Agenda - 2:30pm Start
Accepting minutes from last meeting
- accepted
Project Status/Testing Update - 14:33 UK
- Mark: some movement, not aware of any major blockers / concerns
-
Blazej: need to support importing thousands of images at once?
- UI window fails to manage so many rows
- Roger: may be a use case for people using custom screens imported as many TIFFs
- Chris: enormous amounts of data probably not imported via Insight, but by other means, so limiting Insight is reasonable
- Blazej: CLI works fine for imports of many images
- Andrew: for oversize imports, friendly to have dialog suggesting other approaches
-
Gus: issue with admins importing as other users concurrently
- unsure if related to Dominik’s PR
- Will: web side looks fine
- Balaji: in-place import seems okay so far
- Balaji: CellProfiler now works with OMERO 5
- Colin: nothing significant to report
To discuss: make http://github.com/openmicroscopy/samples public? - 14:41 UK
-
Will: three OME-XML samples from Martin Spitaler, generated from Bio-Formats
- also a fourth image recently added by Will
- changes on branch match Andrew’s wavelength changes in model
- people on forums want OME-XML examples
- not expecting any new non-public images to be added anytime soon
- Sebastien: have versioned examples in model documentation
- Andrew: could work on a schema changes documentation page as we make the changes
-
Will: original images would have to be available so we can find them for updates to the XML
- Sebastien/Andrew: put those files on downloads
-
Roger: could automate a lot of the XML generation
- Andrew: checking the XML takes time, though
- Will: a few files with reasonable coverage largely suffice
-
Chris: make public?
- Will: yes, files and XML, after check with Martin
- Roger: would be good to use CI to notice changes in XML
-
Andrew: could provide images also as OME-TIFF? People ask for examples.
- Chris: sounds like a good idea
-
Will: three OME-XML samples from Martin Spitaler, generated from Bio-Formats
