Sebastien's presentation (2:05 - 2:25) + quick questions
Douglas's presentation (2:30 - 2:50) + quick questions
- Work on spreading/explaining OMERO on Oxford campus
- Work on OMX Cockpit. Ideally implement OME within Cockpit.
-
Development of OMERO filename tagging tokenized client. Moved away from Importer-like client because not using Java. First version of tokenizer. Stand-alone application written in Qt/C++. Could be reimplemented in Python. Three panels: left FS, middle filenames with defined separators, Right: OMERO tag set. Autochecks matching tags + possible manual check. Mapping between existing OMERO tags and tokens.
- Jason: lots of potential use
- Douglas: meaning of tagsets?
-
Problem with collaborative work: project owner by one user only. Suggest different scoping for projects/datasets.
- Chris: already supported but not in UI. Problem of users display pollution by other people
- Douglas: cf Eclipse, define set of non-owned working projects.
- Chris: need for collaborative datasets/projects.
-
Reuse of set of tags by group of people (use case: group leader & his group)
- Will: group tag
- Chris: tags are annotations, possibility of annotation-annotation link. Hard to get feedback in Dundee
- Douglas: tags are crucial in Oxford. Need to delegate permission access.
Any other business (End at 2:55)
