3.2 release
Web stuff ready to go
Server just has one thing left to change (but will be ready by early next week)
Importer ready to go
Should be able to release 3.2 middle of next week
Tickets ready to go
4.0 release
One problem with the wrong model object being used that needs to be fixed by chris
Metadata is still behind and is behind (sounds like something broke in the model so no extra metadata is importing)
ASCB
Rooms booked, flights booked
Metadata Units
Needs to be consistent
Schema needs to be more explicit since its a bit ambiguous
Some fields need to have a units field (defaults assumed but have an optional field to change it)
- Perhaps a measurements unit annotation would address this?
Should really attach original file in omero and would be nice to be able to 'reapply metadata from original file'
Bio-formats
Curtis is going to make some JASE bindings for Bio-Formats
For the time being chris and brian are going to use their ice object optimizations
Investigate improving co-generation between bio-formats to omero
- (keep BF metadata store and add something new for this)
WND-CHARM
Iggy's team is releasing a command line version
Not sure they are going to do any further integration beyond that
Dundee seem to be having a problem getting reproducibility between two separate plates under WND-CHARM
- Iggy has same problem - the classifier may be too sensitive to variance
- Dundee is fixing this with larger sample sets
Are you thinking of doing any further algorithm improvements
- Looking at a few things (mRMR)
- Also looking at some new transforms
FARSIGReview
Kevin is working on this project to bring bio-formats into a common set of tools for scientists
