Introduction to the OME-XML Schema

The OME-XML Schema governs how OME-XML documents are structured. This schema defines an ontology for use with light microscopy images. In addition, it provides mechanisms for extending this ontology with new terms, defining image analysis algorithms and work-flows, and recording data dependency.
