Notes
Post Testing Review. How to record, who/when?
- In each sprint, items that need immediate action will be transposed into that Sprint's gdoc under the 'Review' tab
-
RFE items
- will be parsed by Gus/Jean-Marie at the end of a sprint
- all RFEs to be stored in 'RFE' gdoc
- they will be ordered by category according to functionality (e.g. ROI)
- selected items will be ticketed in each sprint to be fixed
Tutorial plan.
- Gus working on training materials
- Working in feedback from Paris for layout and formatting
-
Plan to work with Roger/Blazej to consider how best to transpose into Sphinx for this layout
- suggest using single formatted images in svg format
- can then overlay annotations on top of the image as won't be possible in Sphinx itself
- Could distribute JCB DV images in a zip file for use with tutorial information
FS Follow-up
Import dialog evolution.
Multi-images file format support.
Browsing repository investigation.
Much discussion about UI impact and how to present proposed things (or not) to the users
Potential use of 'Advanced' tab for users
Permit selection of a root location from the path of the file(s) they have selected for import
Q: how to present this to the user - what will it do for them?
Q: is there any way to store this info and present it for users to search on?
Q: How does this file path translate to project & dataset for the import?
Could the admin select a default path for all users at that location?
...
Actions
- Agree: Location selection dialog to pop up each time
-
Review: difference between Screen/Project. Current implementation can lead to confusion.
- Gus to investigate.
- J-M: prepare a doc describing idea about "browsing" repo. No new view required, adjustment to Hierarchies view.
- No discuss: support for multi-images files.
