    1. Spaces - 14:00 UK

      1. Bio-Formats/OME Files (Sebastien)
        • BF 5.2.0 regression; Simone's fix being reviewed
          • 5.2.1 release this week (fix regression and couple of other bugs)
          • other cards pushed to 5.2.2 board
        • BF 5.3 API being scoped on Wednesday afternoons, everybody welcome
      2. Metadata (Josh)
        • calculation of many features using celery framework
        • Jean-Marie: will look for link re. celery in web import
        • some reimporting for IDR data for publications
        • bulk annotation webapp work soon coming to mainline
        • presentations coming up, need IDR poster soon
          • can probably print poster out locally-to-Josh
          • ideas/help may be needed for poster
        • some reimporting done by Simon for urgent publications
      3. OMERO 5.3.0 (Jean-Marie) - 14:06
        • aiming to tag m3 by Monday
          • no more DB changes currently planned
          • lookup tables in clients
        • Gus: please carry on reviewing and commenting on web grid view (m5+)
          • client support for well annotations
          • see design issues 49, 51, 52
        • discussed enums, not making Bio-Formats changes at this stage
          • automatically extend enums by new value strings
          • will discuss issue as part of next model revision work
        • Josh: working to merge elimination of Python 2.6, including in CI
          • will recommend virtualenv approach
          • will handle couple of gotchas after m4
          • Will: retire old Django (1.6). Yes. No Python2.6 support.
          • Next questions: can decouple OMERO.web? Drop Py26 for OMERO?
        • Jean-Marie: will resurrect web API discussion series
      4. Outreach
        • Helen: community docs repo: invites third-party docs in markdown, adding content to encourage additions from others
          • so, not official support documentation, lower bar
        • Colin: getting things together for coming Galway meeting
        • Jean-Marie: Balaji producing training videos, currently on squig for review
    2. Other releases/upgrades - 14:17 UK

      1. Figure (Will)
        • some new PRs, including from Balaji
          • OMERO ROI work
          • set values on sliders

      3. Learning (Ola)
        • getting mapr use cases, any other relevant users to ask?
          • Jean-Marie: maybe webtagging users
      4. Sysadmin (Kenny)
        • disk issues with seabass
        • web-prod squig mount reliability issues
          • SLS infrastructure (CES) work may help
        • weekly meeting with SLS-IT going well
        • Josh: old fish may soon die, move to OpenStack
        • Josh: ansible workshop coming next week for those interested
          • can rewatch OpenStack workshop recording beforehand
      5. Website redevelopment/redesign (Liza)
        • working on "about" pages, Helen working on copy
        • thanks Gus for setting up links to images from OMERO server, but will need help from Kenny re. VPN

    • June: Sebastien speaking on Sunday in Lyon so away early next week
    • Sebastien: will see if localization microscopy challenge generates anything we can usefully consume
