        • frozen 2016-06 model, XSD published
        • freezing OME-XML component on Bio-Formats side by end of week
        • freezing Bio-Formats 5.2 API in general over summer
      2. Metadata (Eleanor)
        • updating how we record metadata in light of Ola's work (adding tabs)
      3. 5.3.x Scoping
        • Jean-Marie: continuing scoping work, soon less available effort for testing, etc. given preparation for training in Cambridge
        • Colin: discussed Cambridge meeting with Gabry, Petr, Balaji, etc., will flesh out by next Monday, fully prepare by end of next week
          • Kenny discussing with their sysadmin for server setup etc.
          • need to sort out flights, accommodation, etc.
          • Simon: where is it?
            • Jason: Department of Genetics, University of Cambridge
        • Jean-Marie: presentation slides and videos?
          • Helen: still don't have them all, but most formal talks are up
          • Colin: will upload his videos soon

  3. "Informatics and quantitative analysis in bio-imaging: the IGMM image informatics service" presentation by Ahmed Fetit - 14:13 UK

    • Jason: how to scale given how useful conversation with Seb is?
      • Ahmed: problem is that coming from biology or informatics and looking stuff up in the other field is difficult because they are so different and there are few online communities (e.g., biological problems rather than generic computer vision)
        • e.g., how to set up CellProfiler in a cluster's virtual environment
        • Jean-Marie: also, e.g., how to install ImageJ headless
        • Graeme: knows of a knowledge-sharing network neubias
          • workshop in Barcelona in September
          • Jason: good to see documentation, etc. around ImageJ, script work
    • Jean-Marie: what of rewriting legacy scripts?
      • Ahmed: all now MATLAB code going onto GitHub
      • Ian: MathWorks file exchange is where people look to see what's available
      • Jean-Marie: what could help with OMERO / community script repository?
        • Ahmed: not so much what is available as how, once found, to actually get it running
          • YouTube walkthroughs are helpful, including setup
        • Jason: to discuss with Helen, Gus
    • Jason: various scales but even smaller is often useful
