  2. Project Timelines (2-3 minutes each)

    1. Spaces - 14:30 UK

      1. Model (Sebastien)
        • e-mail sent to users this morning
        • releases made, now in maintenance mode
        • regions devspace now merged into develop
        • still some breaking changes coming, including BinData
        • Jean-Marie: needn't branch dev_5_2 until we need to backport, etc.
        • Jean-Marie: usually tag help repo on release?
          • Gus: no, on a separate stream, wrangled by Helen
          • Jean-Marie: tagging could be something to consider
      2. Metadata (Josh)
        • some progress, hardware issues may be stabilizing
        • most coding done, still to do importing
        • continuing to use minke while others aren't much
        • Simon working on nginx, caching, proxying, etc.
        • schedule is tight, given time for imports; see how this week goes
      3. 5.3.x Scoping
        • Sebastien: in Dundee tomorrow, chats re. model, transforms, etc.
        • Jean-Marie: columns growing, need to scope and cut down to what is manageable
      4. Users meeting
        • Helen: have split sessions into columns, each workshop on its own card
          • people should look, add themselves to slots
          • June needs final workshop arrangement done by Thursday morning
          • Colin: Ola has linked her talks from her card, would be good if others could do likewise
          • Will: when to practice?
            • Jean-Marie: early next week?
    2. Other releases/upgrades - 14:41 UK

      1. Figure (Will)
        • opened PR to improve integration with open-with figure
        • generally good to fix workflows that currently involve copying links
      2. ImageJ
      3. Learning
      4. Sysadmin (Kenny)
        • web tagging deployment on demo, nightshade needed updating to be compatible with version of OMERO
        • made progress with black thumbnails
        • various nightshade data recovered from backup
        • making sure nightshade runs fine for a while before upgrading
      5. Smuggler (Montpellier) (Andrea)
        • service wrappers around server - Unix daemon and Windows service, scheduling priority
        • release management
        • heavy-duty test scenarios coming up
    3. Glencoe Update (Josh) - 14:48 UK

      • looking at upgrade to 5.2
  3. AOB (5 mins max - technical discussions should be highlighted to relevant people and rescheduled) - 14:50 UK

    1. Andrea: should upgrade from OMERO 5.2.2 to 5.2.3?
      • Jean-Marie: might be good to because of fix for floating-point data rendering

      • Dundee discussion on Thursday morning
    3. June: registration closed with 74 attendees, same as last year
      • currently looking at 8 lightning talks, 7 posters
    4. Colin working on SPIE poster this week (astronomy conference)
