   1. Mainline (5 minutes) - 14:30 UK

      • 5.1.0 (m3)
        • Mark: graph traversal reimplementation PR now open
          • improves performance, fixes various integration tests
          • room for further performance improvement outwith the graph traversal
        • Units - Trello board with the status.
          • Jean-Marie: Will working on web, factory on Python front
          • Josh: some awkward Ice 3.4/3.5 issues
          • Jean-Marie: continue post-standup meetings
        • Maps - Handing off to client devs (merging likely tomorrow with few outstanding issues)
        • Rendering - Schema in progress, Andrew working on it in discussion with Jean-Marie.
          • tradeoff between XML representation and usability in code
        • libometiff (Roger)
          • about halfway, some PRs open
          • OME-XML metadata glue should be done later this week, OME-TIFF reader and writer to follow
        • Jean-Marie: jsTree blocked by Hibernate
          • Josh: will take a look after ordered maps are in, trying to unblock people waiting for model changes
          • Jean-Marie: review will be a significant effort
        • documentation: still plenty to do

      • Sebastien B: U-Track released, will be working on OME-TIFF generation
      • Simone: Bio-Formats and Hadoop, working on Avro serialization/deserialization
        • adding code to GitHub repository, proof-of-concept application
        • working toward feature analysis with WND-CHARM
      • Yuriy: now have working application for OPT from OMERO
        • reconstructs volumetric data
        • downsampling for quick viewing
        • can use GPU for much faster processing

3. AOB (5 mins max - technical discussions should be highlighted to relevant people and rescheduled) - 14:42 UK

   • Meetings update - recently attended and upcoming
     • Jean-Marie: in Glasgow last week (Scottish microscopy event)
       • group in St Andrew’s building light-sheet microscope
         • discarding black pixels to reduce file size
       • plenty of EM image users (Aberdeen, etc.)
     • Simon going to biodata visualization meeting
     • Dominik: developer meeting in Dundee
       • some talks could be relevant to new client implementation
   • BF/docs standups
     • default to 2pm daily, can adjust and keep them short to fit around other meetings
