2. Project Status (15 minutes max)

   1. Mainline (5 minutes) - 14:31 UK

      • 5.0.6 hopefully out today
        • Seb B: looking good, still to test webstart
          • OpenJDK 8 Bio-Formats JPEG bug, but existed also in 5.0.5
            • Helen: added to known limitations page, PR awaits merge
          • Robot Framework failures, but expected
          • after this meeting, get webstart tested and decide about releasing
        • Melissa: Bio-Formats version number updated, good to go
      • 5.1.0 status (Josh)
        • Andrew’s branch in fairly good state, should soon be out of breaking
        • may be some small import / file format issues, ask if you notice anything
        • further changes in how units work, clients will need updating to match (ought now to be simpler)
        • aiming to get other breaking database changes into milestone 5.1.0-m3

   2. Glencoe Update (5 minutes) - 14:37 UK

      • Emil: extra PR coming for collapsing light paths (performance issue affecting large plates)
        • can still have multiple channels

   3. Consortium Update (5 minutes) - 14:38 UK

      • Ian: Gary Yellen at Harvard using OMERO and FLIMfit together, then may look at 5.1
        • Jason: had a good meeting with Gary Yellen on Friday (FLIM, modulo, etc.), ROI work to come
      • Yuriy: further OPT work, using MATLAB
      • Curtis: working on FIJI and ImageLib2, challenging to upgrade whole stack
        • Jason: Gary Yellen interested in segmentation, perhaps ImageJ2 plugins could help
          • Curtis: next hackathon will be very ROI-focused
      • Douglas: good meeting at Cold Spring Harbor

3. Update on documentation status and tasks online slides (Helen) - 14:46 UK

   • need to be Trello cards for web / jQuery changes
   • many of the videos are out of date (4.4 or earlier)
   • various backlog items need people to help out (not 5.1-specific, but still progress ASAP)
     • especially Bio-Formats developer documentation
     • even if just in gdoc, Helen can make pretty in Sphinx

4. AOB (5 mins max - technical discussions should be highlighted to relevant people and rescheduled) - 14:52 UK

   1. pytest workshop 11am tomorrow, CTIR 3.23
   2. Kenny: let me know of any issues with new Jabber server
      • Josh: would be good to retire old chat rooms / servers
        • Jason: target to shut them down Wednesday night, so use only new rooms / servers from Thursday
