- no public release, but artifacts will be generated

- open question about how schema changes are demonstrated in client UIs
- for demo, can limit which properties have units, e.g., pixel size
- 5.1.0-m3: Dec 15
- 5.1.0 release candidates over January 2015

on average, starting from now, the team resolves four tickets per working day to be ready by Feb 1
- some will have to be pushed
- Jason: however, if work must slip, prefer to reduce features than postpone delivery

- Will: duplicating some work for web? (PR #3042)
- Chris: have been aware of it, but need more / different features; in due course some of the Python code could be merged together
- Chris: Glencoe work has been CLI, in contrast to Will’s web work
- Unicode handling fixes for movie infrastructure, pull requests coming

PerkinElmer / Columbus opensource-side QA messages can be closed, especially if old versions, will be handled by Glencoe / PerkinElmer support
- new version coming, Columbus 2.5, includes up-to-date OMERO 4

- Yuriy: code improvement, bug-fixing
- Curtis: circulated update by e-mail

Simone: discussed HDFS issues, may be accessible to both client and server; would be good to obtain URI for filesystem paths; described further on Trello
- path.py PR submitted, but Python work deprioritized
- continued work on pydoop
- Simon: further work on OMERO.features

- reviews on squig; reasonable, largely positive
- interview at the end of this month

- there has been demand for time with OME team, and there is room in CTIR

- OME consortium members welcome
- focus is interesting development rather than, say, installation problems

- not releasing OMERO.editor zips, nor OpenGL Insight
