  2. Project Status (15 minutes max) (Josh) - 14:34 UK

    1. 5.0.3 release board
      • may roll ND2 fix back to state that Roger and Balaji had tested
      • Petr: Windows testing went okay
      • release testing tomorrow
      • Jason: any reason to delay further? Jean-Marie: no
      • Jean-Marie: build this afternoon? Josh: yes
      • Jean-Marie: remember to assign to cards on release board so we are ready to go

  3. Glencoe Update (5 minutes) (Jason) - 14:38 UK

    • Last week Glencoe meeting in NYC, especially Monday, Tuesday

  4. Consortium Update (5 minutes) - 14:40 UK

    • Ian: making progress with writing OME-TIFF files
    • Ian: will be releasing Bio-Formats version of FLIMfit
    • Curtis: fixing minor glitches
    • Curtis: Groovy scripting support for ImageJ
    • Douglas: working with Will on jsTree, jQuery
    • Simon: WND-CHARM approaching release
    • Simone: fixed so that script can run under user other than daemon processes
    • Simone: new CRS-4 person working on pydoop; eliminating C/C++ code from it
    • Simone: working on making HDFS path code more like io.path so easier to use as path.py backend

  5. AOB (5 mins max - technical discussions should be highlighted to relevant people and rescheduled) - 14:46 UK

    • Jean-Marie: moving now to opening PRs against develop, rebasing bug-fixes against dev_5_0
    • Jean-Marie: progress made with Java 8 problems
    • Ola: post-5.0.3 QA testing?
      • Petr: test preparation
      • Jean-Marie: will discuss
    • FYI: One day symposium on Bioinformatics, Dundee 05/09/14
    • Dundee only: Materials for the CTIR opening
      • ideas for visual materials welcomed, within next few weeks
    • Dundee only: Cold in the office again. Feeling temperature is only 15C was 17C last week, chart here mentioned in rows 59, 61 on spreadsheet
      • Jason: gather full day of temperature data for new cold day, compare with previous fixed/warm day
      • Ola: exterior climate may be a relevant variable
