ROI spec proposal by Roger, before ROI meeting next week (30 mins) - 14:51 UK
- Curtis: burden of implementation to not just decide?
-
Curtis: 0-pixel (infinite thinness) v. 1-pixel thick (trap of pixels as little squares)
- Discrete geometry discussion: would be good to consult Gabriel Landini, who has written many morphology plugins for ImageJ that compute 2D discrete geometry features. Ref: pixel not a square, voxel not a cube.
- Curtis: Set / group / union, further naming & discussion needed at the meeting.
- Roger: Complexity needs to be addressed over representation, need multiple. Conversions are trivial.
- Curtis: air on the side of using more things. We don’t need to support everything but support most use cases.
-
Will: change in behavior of editing extended shapes
- Chris: we previously copied the shapes
