3. Release Status

   • Release Plan #7777: 4.4 Release Process
     • Emma: Hopefully at the end of next week.
     • Josh: In the past, trac page for release process, tickets are mentioned on that process
     • Josh: may need updating, someone else maybe to look at it
     • Blazej: don’t mind if I can watch over someone else working on it.
     • Josh: Blazej and Josh to ‘pair release’
     • Jean-Marie: some parts done already, duplicate website etc.
       • Tag tomorrow’s build
     • Josh: merge in branches more frequently, every 2 or 3 days, 4 more times.
     • Josh: 7777 - add them to this as we assign them to people, added during the standup
     • Will: Documentation already duplicated, no bullet points to update the docs or check it’s up to date

   • Emma: stop having pre-meeting at 2pm completely, do them in the standups (09:30 BST)

     • Emma: will start deleting form a week old.

5. CLS OMERO Instance Updates - 14:47 UK

   • Paul Felts
     • Emma: spoke to him last week, couple fo things came out
     • upgrade him? test case?
     • Chris: don’t have to discuss now, but nothing precluding it
     • Josh: Pixel-data-0 multi-threaded, will check
     • Chris: works okay but not great, sporadic pixel pyramid generation
     • Starts teaching in Sept. again.
     • Chris: need a few weeks to prep.
     • Emma: he’s planning more courses (cF. crunch time before exams)
       • He should message that well to his students.
       • Would like a better setup.

     • Colin: rebased on develop this morning and push to my github, couple of more changes, push to Ola, then run script on live system
     • Emma: don’t think Sarah has seen anything re images / structure
