    • Emma: does anyone read them? Not really
    • But ok.

  2. Sprint Bug Report (5 mins)

    • Last week total: 87 (3 blocker, 8 critical, 25 major, 51 minor)
    • New bugs: 9 (1 blocker, 1 critical, 2 major, 5 minor)

  3. This week total: 90 (4 blocker, 8 critical, 27 major, 51 minor)

    • Emma: Creeping up.
    • Jean-Marie: still some issues with the query, because I closed 10 bugs. *

  4. Sprint Tickets/bugs

    • Jean-Marie: looking at tickets
      • We had more open/in-progress then we were done
      • We were better earlier in the milestone
      • Now we are pushing everything into the current sprint
      • Are people aware that today is the end of sprint? Add elsewhere if necessary.
      • Also, if youre going on holiday, move everything out of the current sprint.
      • We tackle roughly 100 a sprint as a team

  5. Minigroup Updates (points for Sprint page) - 14:37 UK

    • Elwood: Data imported and new web display updated and deployed.

  7. Model

    • Andrew away
    • Jean-Marie: he was working on stylesheet; hoping to try them out
    • Work is not finished; behind in fixing codegen, etc.
    • Happening on github.com/openmicroscopy/openmicroscopy/tree/schema-2012-06
    • Need to look into upgrading your code (esp. ROIs)
    • Several things to decide next week

  8. Web - started 14:40 UK

    • Ola: issues related to usability backlog from Scott and Gus, identify feedback from courses and looking at those tickets to identify what we can get done for 4.4 / 4.4.1. Meeting later this week
    • Ola: UI changes ongoing with Dom and Will
    • Ola: group changes progressing
      • Will: web chgrp work merged, nothing planned yet until we have chgroup API changes, when are they to be done?
      • Josh: only new change you will have this week is chmod (changing permissions) and target of chgrp
      • Will: changing permission levels on groups, discussion in web group to decide if the new options should go in server for 4.4.
      • TABLED (no Chris, Jason, or Carlos)
    • Ola: examining webadmin. would have a large impact.
      • Jean-marie: admin changes will affect Insight too.
      • Jean-Marie: dropping basket / sharing?
    • Josh: need to decide to what extent we are integrating webstart and downgrade

  9. Insight

    • Jean-marie: nothing specific.
      • Headless planning
      • Work with Gus to get feedback

  10. FS - Started 14:48 UK

    • Big summary next week (presentation)
    • Cleaning up and some work integrating with insight

  11. Usability

    • Scott: more follow ups with Gus from Crieff people and Sonyas lab, notes on gdocs.
      • No specific tasks, think about analysis
    • Gus induction, related to documentation
    • Gus: Documentation for Jean-Marie and user testing.
    • Jean-Marie: training docs on hold?
    • Scott: no, but focusing on getting Gus up to speed.
    • Emma: Gus wanted involvement in structure of what gets put together

  12. Bio-Formats - started 14:51 UK

    • Melissa: not a lot to share
    • Curtis: exciting visit; lots of stuff done.
      • email aliases sorted out
      • changed website to discourage use of bioformats@loci
      • feedback from Kevin? May need to bounce the message, include “LOCI as part of OME”
    • Melissa: imglib as dep. of scifio
      • Approved marks changes (with fallout)
      • C++ builds are broken.
      • All data testing is failing (Squig broken; still hung on necromancer)
    • Jean-Marie: do we need more colors?
      • perhaps need more servers ready.
      • especially for code-freeze and bug fixing.
    • Josh:
      • also working on submodules of bioformats
      • then we can merge in multiple branches from melissa for quicker testing

    • chgrp & chmod: these are coming this week because they are the API changes so other can work with them.
    • If theres anything else that you need in the way of API for moving forward, please speak up.

  14. Docs - nothing

  15. Big images / learning - 15:01 UK

    • Scott: ok. Getting hammered though. This is their last week (before they hand their work in)
    • Ola: Out of memory exceptions? stick, do you have access to double it?
      • Chris had decided on 2 gigs.
      • Josh added sticks keys
      • stick: VM has 8GB of RAM; OMERO is using 2G(blitz), can up it, but requires an OMERO-restart.
        • Scott: that would be good.
      • Ola: do that later in your day.
      • stick: after what time?
      • Ola: as late as possible for you.
      • Scott: pfelts said it would be done; so perhaps now.
      • Jean-Marie: then maybe now.
      • Ola: might wait if Chris advises something.
        • Emma: let him know if youre waiting on him
        • stick: sending out a message?
        • Josh: emails in DB.
    • Matlab
      • Testing framework (Josh/Sebastien)
      • Jean-marie: Sebastian will be here next week in Dundee on Tuesday.
      • Josh: add Matlab to meeting template so he can report each week.
      • Setting up matlab testing on GRE-importer?
      • Jean-Marie: need to decide which version.
      • Jean-Marie: will as Ian Munro.
    • Deployment
      • Homebrew working on 10.7 (Josh/Sebastien)
        • Josh: Sebastian testing on 10.7, some weirdness that goes away after a while. Compiling Ice 3.3, (Beer offered by Josh for solution)
        • Add proper support for the brew install. Moving forward for 4.4
      • VM (stick) - Started 15:11 UK
        • Josh: had asked stick to take over VM scripts/build etc.
        • Stick: done a lot on the Glencoe side so might be able to assist with failing VM scripts in VirtualBox
        • Trying to get an official build
          • A bit away from having regular 4_3 builds.
        • Will be moving something closer to vagrant (very close to virtualbox)

  16. Satellite Update - Started 15:12 UK

    • Emma: No one has taken a private repo yet, but some interest
    • jean-Marie: Ian Munro should give working copy for integration

  17. Glencoe Update

    • Josh: Issues from 4.1 screen plate well that weve been looking at.
    • Josh: stick & chris set up a big image demo web based google map style viewer, caching from pfelts applied
    • Jean-Marie: need more usability work on big and large images after the summer
      • Discuss with pfelts, etc.
      • Very important.

  18. Planning for Paris (theme of integration -- with file systems, ImageJ & Knime, web, other projects...)

    • Emma: general them from discussion with Jason
    • Putting together a program, so need to discuss what you would like to do/say
    • Have had posters, different length of talks, present ourselves vs. not.
    • Will: poster session didnt work because we didnt tell people to bring them
      • Can be very good if theyre well planned.
      • Everyone cant give a talk.
    • Jean-Marie: open discussion works best.
    • Emma: therell be a google doc.

  19. Presentation Schedule - Started 15:18 UK

    • Emma / Scott: Usability / Testing 2 weeks afer Colins
    • Josh: previously we did milestone-based talks (demos, etc); nothing higher level

  20. Copyrights (Curtis/Josh)

  21. Bioformats et al.

    • Josh: Jason/Chris not here.
    • Curtis: possible for someone else to get involved since Jason is so busy?
    • Emma: would have to discuss that with him
    • Curtis: topic branches on various repos (imglib/imagej/scifio)
      • Various email threads of proper copyright headers (e.g. institutions, etc)
      • As far as Im concerned, waiting to hear back from Jason
      • Emma: Back on Thursday

  22. Any other business (<5 mins) - started 15:21 UK

    • Melissa: Last month or so dundee visit before 4.4, keep dates in mind if you want to do that?
    • Jean-Marie: before code freeze? in April?
    • Melissa: Least disruptive time?
    • Josh: All the glenconians?
    • Emma: Discuss offline and work it out.
