      • Josh: hard to know what we will have done in 2.5 months
      • Jean-Marie: FLIM and EM data, will require modulo solution in place; also units in the model.
    • Emma: Rest is free-form, topics for discussion

    • accepted
  5. Sprint Bug Report (5 mins)

    • Closed bugs: 9 (1 blocker, 2 critical, 2 major, 4 minor)
    • New bugs: 4 (1 critical, 1 major, 2 minor)
    • Total bugs: 81 (4 blocker, 9 critical, 21 major, 47 minor)
  6. Sprint Tickets/bugs

    • Chris: we create more tickets than we open every sprint
    • Emma: should we close tickets?
    • Josh: issue of the tool/UI, really. Want to archive requirements.
    • Jean-Marie: we-re currently jamming everything in the current sprint when we create new stories/tasks.
      • Josh: another issue of the tool/UI. The GUI automatically puts things into the current sprint if you create them from the whiteboard.
      • Chris: doing it the old way is just so much more time-consuming.
      • Ola: was trying to collect everything into sprint9.
  7. Minigroup Updates (points for Sprint page) - Started 14:45 UK

    • HIC
      • hic site running on 4.4 web
      • investigation on highlighting possibly needed changes.
      • now looking to what code can be moved into the mainline on the python (blitz) infrastructure, rather than using raw tables interface.
      • jbc hcs is using raw tables.
      • other groups are using tables api and a lot of cross cutting concerns with other projects uses (cF. Sardinia)
    • Model - Start 15:00 UK
      • Chris: Oh *
      • Andrew: database model api names in mapping files to make them consistent. Lots of discussions. Page on trac on resolution / deprecation / more discussion / rework
        • need to rework ROI, general outcome, for 4.4 we will make what we have got work rather than move to 3d version.
        • what omero saves doesn-t match the specification in the model.
        • agreed to move it out of sync in last release but is too much work to change to 3d, so we will fix it. Polygons and polylines storage needs, no curved objects apart from ellipses, no curved lines, will be polylines.
        • Curtis: ImageJ will not have a problem, supports straight-lines that have metadata for splines.
        • Will: masks in the db v. model. Stored as a byte array.
        • Jean-Marie: DETAILS...
        • Jason: discuss with Ingvar
      • Josh: affects the entire code base
        • Chris: have google docs with IQuery usages.
    • Web - Started 15:04 UK
      • Ola: in process of finalising infrastructure changes, couple of weeks to test and push to develop. Should be in develop by March.
      • Ola: Changes on chgroup from Will-s branch.
      • Will: we-d like to be able to chose a group and stuff move before it actually happens.
      • Will: Move multiple objects at the same time. Josh: pass the links along with the move?
      • Josh: Just like delete (almost)
      • Will: query for dataset? Josh: Another branch
      • Will: race condition?? Josh: yeah, very weird.
      • Ola: Outstanding pull requests are on develop, pretty stable, some final changes, should go soon.
      • Carlos: decorators?
      • Ola/Chris: not yet, will happen in the future
    • Insight (Jean-Marie) - Start 1509 UK
      • chgrp excuse for working on multi-group
      • presented by Scott last week
      • Monash wanted the multi-groups. (Configuring via webstart)
      • Possible discussion with Dom/Liza about multi-group tree view, multi-server! (cF. David)
      • Looking at using move to.. approach as in web.
      • New video on 7705
      • Jason: was looking at video of insight as imagej plugin. Can we remake the video without eclipse?
        • Sure. Those aren-t for re-use, but to update the list of videos that Colin did.
    • FS
      • Jean-Marie: nothing as was away and Colin on holiday
    • Usability - Start 15:16 UK
      • Scott: Started getting training docs moved along, rough template of import / export data for a starter sheet for training. Making sure that data in screenshots for training is meaningful, show near real data. Issue with some file formats, ones that you are and are not allowed to use.
        • Jason / Melissa: Looking for internal use?
        • No, for use on training public data.
        • Jason: use jcb, ascb data and attribute it.
        • Melissa: no HCS / Big Image
        • Jean-Marie / Emma: can say we support it and show a sample if asked for.
        • Scott: re: Milestone, discuss: where we want to go, if and when.
        • Jason: New support guy Gus, hopefully mid March.
        • Emma: could we go ahead and start target
      • Dom: Web redesign work, presentation next week
    • Big images / learning
      • Ola: set for CLS install. When do we want to install. Up to us. Set “Spring” as a start date.
        • Emma: waiting on information about the data structure to see if it needs to be preserved.
        • 47 GB
      • Images are generated; cache is running
    • Bio-Formats - Started 15:22 UK
      • Not a lot to say on the OSS side.
      • IBS with a new format, no spec. Looking in to sending data.
    • Docs
      • Bit stalled.
  8. OME Policies (5 mins) - Started 15:29 UK

    • Emma: any feedback?
      • Have already heard one piece of feedback about putting more policy in place for things like timely email feedback, etc. Also, what-s realistic in terms of expectations?
    • Chris: all have a large number of things to watch (github, trac, devteam, emails, …)
      • Lowest latency that people are watching is devteam.
      • Emma: immediacy of devteam is best for getting something acted on. Even if just pointing to an email.
      • Chris: don-t get great turn around on email.
      • Andrew: filter github and trac out to a special folder. “Notifications that I need to work through at some point”
      • Jason: generally, filtering out from team is a bad strategy.
      • Jean-Marie: difficult when it comes to tickets.
      • Jason: if it-s important, I-d say “immediately”. No substitute for re-raising items.
      • Jason: would like to be told...
        • is it ok to type something into devteam and leave?
        • Andrew: devteam is quick, not as good as a phone call (go off and make a coffee)
        • Chris: not everyone has setting on adium to mark away.
        • Jason: that we can agree on.
        • Simon: gmail doesn-t work well.
        • Chris: for the best experience, use our jabber server.

    • Jason: Welcomes new hires.
