  3. Matters Arising (<10 mins)

    • Josh: refactor gitflow out. PENDING
      • Jean-Marie: had to handle a conflict in pull request
      • Have a suggestion on how to fix it.
      • Chris: only way to do that on the web side is to merge branches into pull request branch
        • Had to do that at the end of 4.3.3
      • Jean-Marie: will add notes to UsingGit
    • Jason: send GS ads to nitpick PENDING
    • Everyone: feedback on scaling, etc.
      • No feedback for the moment.

  4. Satellite Meeting (20 mins)

    • Started at 14:07
    • Agenda has been sent.
    • Room changes: not ideal; might be difficult for presentations.
    • Travel sorted, taxi sorted.
    • Malabar: Tuesday 7pm (25 people)
      • 2 tables of 10 and 1 of 5
      • Anyone want to take charge of putting together the order?
      • Andrew: Put it together at lunch? Sure.
    • Day 2:
      • Imperial folk being picked up at 3:45.
      • Ingvar at 5.45pm
      • Rest next morning.
    • Presentations
      • Make sure you have your presentation done by end of Monday
      • Order? Alphabetic? Dundee first? Josh: Random?
    • Program? On Google Doc.

  5. Glencoe Update

    • Started at 14:16
    • Server went down. Chris spent time working on it.
      • mail and Jabber
      • no impact on customers.
    • JCB/ASCB migration from 4.1 to 4.3 state.
      • key point: chgrp, chown.
    • Harvard: feature request HCS search similar to JCB HCS.
    • Interviews: 2 so far, 3 more this week (5 in total week 31/10)
      • Web designer and Sysadmin.
      • Those 2 and third are on glencoe web site.

  6. Minigroup Updates Started at 14:23

    • HIC (presentation on Tuesday 1/11)
    • Model
    • Web (until the end of the year)
      • Upgrading to django to 1.3
      • Java script library. Quite a mess that needs to get cleaned up.
      • meeting with Paul Felts 03/11 10am.
        • Happy so far.
        • Not going to use it in classroom (issue with IE)
        • Support in Dundee, Jason
    • FS
      • Alex, CRUK and Jackie, scope admin.
      • Interested to try out FS preview (after tidying up)
      • Alex: will send sample files (Volocity)
    • 4.4
      • Anything that needs to go in?
      • Web is pretty much done
      • Large things should be in already
      • Need to be flexible with the satellites
      • Big deprecation decisions
        • Deprecated HQL?
        • What to do with some clients?
        • Needs to be decided.
      • Add points ASAP to milestone if needed
