  1. Accepting minutes from last meeting

  2. Matters Arising (<10 mins)

    • Ola: Don't forget to look over the Python API changes from will, to make sure nothing is missing that's needed
    • Josh: C++ options - Use 2008 / our DLLs, after release we'll try 2010, build in vs2010, icetest
    • Andrew: Reply to Sindhu Emilda email
    • Ola add "within a few days" (human in the loop) DONE
  3. State of 4.3.2 release (?? mins)

    • Scott: Testing outstanding dates for
    • Phase III scenario testing on gretzky - Friday 9th Sept
    • Testing file formats on Win2k8 box - Wednesday 7th Sept Morning session.
    • Tickets for documentation for 4.2.3 overlaps with training material.
  4. Next few weeks-- Jason

    • Project End/Project Start
    • Dev team pages
    • Videos/Docs for 4.3.2
    • Defining 4.4....

  2. Matters Arising (<10 mins)

    • Ola: Don't forget to look over the Python API changes from will, to make sure nothing is missing that's needed - IN THE WORKS
      • Ola/Chris sent an email to devteam with all the changes made
      • Carlos: Will have to weigh those changes against the update, can discuss on Wednesday
      • Jason: We need to have more up to date feedback from newer servers here
    • Josh: C++ options - Use 2008 / our DLLs, after release we'll try 2010, build in vs2010, icetest - DONE
    • Andrew: Reply to Sindhu Emilda email - PENDING

  3. State of 4.3.2 release (?? mins)

    • Scott: Testing outstanding dates for
      • Thanks for testing on Friday - all done
      • Outstanding tests, file formats on windows box & scenarios on Gretzky.
        • This need it done ASAP (tomorrow)
        • JMB: We should have this done by lunch time if possible
    • Phase III scenario testing on gretzky - Friday 9th Sept
      • JMB: Do we want to do this on windows as well?
      • Brian: Are we testing install on windows? Chris: Yes, each time its upgraded for testing
    • Testing file formats on Win2k8 box - Wednesday 7th Sept Morning session.
    • Tickets for documentation for 4.2.3 overlaps with training material.
      • Changes and updates from 4.2.3 will be used for training - expect tickets for this
    • Bugs:
      • 33 bugs, 2 are critical.
      • Jason: So time scales are ok? Seems so
      • Josh: LDAP weirdness is still outstanding. Patch is in develop (not verified). LDAP branch will not go in.
        • Ola: branch is failing currently
  4. Next few weeks-- Jason

    • Project End/Project Start
      • We can expect a lot of activity after release. We should work on collecting data
    • Dev team pages
      • Would be nice to get these updates to these pages
      • Would like to mention people to our project announcements
    • Videos/Docs for 4.3.2
      • Would be nice to take a week or so to update this
      • Perhaps the week following release dedicated to this
      • New positions are looming, need to determine how to advertise these
    • Defining 4.4....
      • What do we want to rebuild? What contraints do we want to remove?
      • Cleaning up backlogs, meet some long standing requirements from the community
      • Stability improvements
      • Growing team.
        • How are we going to grow the team? How do we handle interviews?
        • How do we handle space issues? Currently up in the air (some possibilities in the works)
          • Scott: having the team split into two different spaces needs to handled carefully
          • Jason: Comes down to personalities, who we put where and how we manage those will unfold
        • We have some scaling issues. Need to seriously look at how this can be improved.
          • Some changes to github would help with helping folks see what's happening.
          • Trac: Do we need to change to some other provider here?
          • Minigroups: How do we run these?
          • Weekly meetings: Are these needed? Should be changed?
          • Josh meetings every 4-6 weeks.
          • Need to be flexible to work with other projects
        • The big challenge will be handling this growth!

    • FLIM email proposal
      • JMB: Will Sent out propoal to Tom with more dimensions
    • Jason: There will be a party on the 16th at the playwright. Will include OME+Lab

  • Everyone: Expect priority testing Wednesday morning
  • Andrew: prepare and sent out email about dimension changes to users
