  1. Accepting minutes from last meeting

  2. Matters Arising (<10 mins)

    • Josh: Turn on the failing license checker DONE ticket:5954
    • Will: add ticket for finalizing copyright headers.
    • Josh: publish google doc (html preferred) DONE as PDF see here
    • Josh/Chris: convert scenario script to copy from a template milestone
    • Everyone: Review tickets in 4.3.1 (going to need triage from all)
    • Andrew: Will run a link checker against the website - done 4623 links checked, 45 bad (22 external, 3 omero-trac, 9 shoola-trac, 1 ome-server-trac, 3 download links)
    • Major topics for Thursday: Existing tickets, Branching, Documentation
    • Andrew: Add FAQ entry for above - done how-do-you-convert-a-non-ldap...
    • Scott: Send Jason the ticket for the movies

  3. 4.3.1 Release

    • Existing tickets/tasks (in 4.3.0 and 4.3.1)
      • Documentation
        • Josh: need to get 4.3.0 out of the door ASAP so 4.3.1 doesn't start getting mixed together.
      • Bugs & tasks at "major" and above
    • Scope of changes & testing
      • Additional File Formats in Bio-Formats
      • Branching Proposal: 4.3.1 development takes place on "develop" to be merged into "master", and all other work takes place on feature branches on team.git.

  3. 4.3.1 Release (Started 14:15)

    • Existing tickets/tasks (in 4.3.0 and 4.3.1)
      • Documentation
        • Josh: need to get 4.3.0 out of the door ASAP so 4.3.1 doesn't start getting mixed together.

      • Notes:
        • Jason: New file formats? No reason. Pushed already.
        • Anything stopping us from closing out 4.3.0? Not really.
          • Scott has the basics of everything he needs. One more day to close out is feasible.
          • Jason: close at 1700 BST today (Thursday)
          • Chris: for the statistics to make sense, we should put non-scenario tickets in those stories?
            • JMB: It's what's found during the testing phase.
            • CXA: Let's review the process soon.
          • Jason - Multiple agendas
            • Describe what 4.3.1 is
              • If we're being held up due to tickets, then we've got to get those closed.
            • Getting metrics
              • Starting to do things with agilo that it wasn't really meant to do.
              • In the absence of instantly getting our metrics, have to favor defining the body of work.
    • Scope of changes & testing
      • Additional File Formats in Bio-Formats
      • Branching Proposal:
        • 4.3.1 development takes place on "develop" to be merged into "master", and all other work takes place on feature branches on team.git.
        • Ok. Using team.git as the "unstable" area, and "develop" as bug fixing for 4.3
        • Bio-Formats is using "develop" as the unstable area and dev_4_3 for bug fixing.
        • Hudson builds will also stay the same for 4.3.1

      • hudson is moving to another machine
      • Hopefully take care of that before vacations.
