3. Mid-Sprint Update (20 mins)

   • Not getting a lot of headway for these tickets
   • A lot of tickets from Scott
   • 15-20 tickets for Ola (these are mostly 'extras' that are not vital for release)
   • Big-Images: Two major ones from Chris are close to finish. Some left over for Josh
   • A lot of 'small' 'requests for enhancement' bugs (like icon changes) which aren't critical
     • Ola probably has too many before end of sprint, passing some to Will, pushing others
   • Some of these tickets (like movie making) don't belong in this sprint and need to moved
   • Chris: 1 of the big tasks in Big Images done, working on #2, 2 remaining in progress
     • Jason: Multi-threading? Chris: Have to slot that in. Background work done.

   • Open job listing for project manager should be out in the next few days
   • Meeting in May with the HIC guys
   • OMERO paper has been submitted
   • Need to look at 'real search' of metadata and exposing metadata structures
     • Some users requesting a way to 'enforce' metadata
   • Mike Rossner coming May 19th
   • Martin wants to arrange a visit
     • JMB: A few others are looking for this as well (Cancer UK, Oxford)
     • Jason: What does the OMERO team want from these meetings?
     • JMB: What would be useful is feedbck on how to present features
     • Chris: We should be prepared for invites while in Paris
     • Jason: (Agenda item for Paris) meet candidates and find out their requirements
