- values from instrument to do calculations: bin, width, etc.
- how to find the proper level for attachment
-
relation to spectral lifetime?
- currently only adding one dimension
- supporting N-dimensions?
- enumeration is N!
- bigger discussion. off-meeting? 1400BST Monday
-
write proposal (as with SPW)

Website
-
headers: simplifying? only shows one-level deep.
- files / clients / server?
- datamodel / applications?
- biologists / sysadmins / developers?
- by date?
- How? / What? / Where? / When?
- ... no solution. Send an email if it's important to you.
- detailed question: omit
-
review process
- trac urls with search parameters? (keeping them up-to-date)
- have to use /site/...; not ../../
- @Andrew sends an email with instructions
- whoever doesn't do their questions must do the reviews
- no excuses: do your FAQ. find it on the mailing list.
- similar to model review: every so many months
-
forum spam : more options to captcha? moderating account creation?
- keep deleting
- /site/community

4.0.4
- decided on Wed., 4.0.4 should have been client only.
- now it requires server for LSM
- 4.1 release in October
- Testing a group in Sept
- Bigger than anticipated
4.1 : Group A
- Still working on sending the data. Should be done Monday with sending full feedback
- Testing Monday (late) or Tuesday (morning) to show on Wednesday Test results
4.1 : Group B
- No progress on code generation
- StructuredAnnotations hasn't been done yet.
- Key/KeyRefs being put in at the top-level
- Getting rid of all ID elements
- ExcitationFilters, etc. multiple links to objects with special namespace
- Model review beginning of August (All changes in)
- Starting next week on the code generation stack (XSLT)
-
Need to think about breaking changes
- What goes into 4.1, what's 4.2?
- Needs lots of testing
- Also need to get the metadata for manually testing
misc
- Insitutional resources email. @Chris responds
-
will did 3 videos. donald did 2.
- need to speed up the movie pipeline
- can be simple, but they need to be compressed. (consistent codecs)
-
licenses:
- need to get bioformats licenses in
- javascript discussion: "if not altered, s'ok. ... but ajax calls?"
- a few jquery are GPL/commercial. need to see what we can replace
- are any of the jquery scripts altered? simpletree (BSD)
- giving changes back to the owner?
- everyone modifies README and discusses on GPL-like code
- fs : shouldn't be bouncing now
-
java 1.6 : more than just Windows (also Linux)
- (deep in AWT) on component resizing
- http://bugs.sun.com/view_bug.do?bug_id=6819343
- only on screen-view...
- probably won't be able to get everyone to upload.
- very tricky
- need to be very open about it.
- Chris can only trigger it with SPW
- Perhaps where things get shrunk down.
- catching exception and saying "upgrade java"
fun discussion
- how to come to resolution on these longer discussions?
- should always come to these discussions with material/links
- Tuesday 1400 BST talk about these issues.
