- Decided to move back the beta release to the 19th of January to facilitate futher testing
- Have to look at how we are doing iteration and how to include testing more prominently in our current cycle
- Andrew Patterson will be starting on the 4th of January.
- Friday January 12 there is a meeting Cambridge to decide how we interact with GO. Need to decide who goes.
- Cat's team wants to run some "taster workshops" with some folks from Comp Science and want to do some interview with us and the lab folk.
- Seems to be a problem with the thumbnail rendering which is preventing the thunbnails from being rendered correctly.
- Had a discussion on how to integrate OME and OMERO and using database triggers. See http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.2/static/plperl-funcs.html for some background on this concept.
